Our foundational curriculum, developed by Sacred Soma, offers comprehensive studies exploring the intersections of somatics, neuroscience, spirituality, consciousness, nature-centered healing, and more.

A 12-Week Foundational Study of Somatics & Nature-Centered Spirituality
Welcome to the first vocational course of the Sacred Soma Sanctum.
Embodied Energetics is an introductory vocational training for healing arts students and practitioners seeking a deeper understanding of the relationship between the human body, the nervous system, consciousness, and the living world.
Grounded in contemporary neuroscience and somatic practice while drawing inspiration from Indigenous worldviews, contemplative traditions, and subtle body philosophies, this program invites participants into an integrated approach to healing that values both evidence-informed knowledge and embodied wisdom.
At its heart, Embodied Energetics recognizes that healing is not simply the reduction of symptoms but the restoration of relationship—to self, to others, to community, and to the Earth. Throughout the course, students explore how physiology, perception, emotion, movement, breath, and presence shape our capacity to heal and to support others.
The curriculum introduces foundational nervous system science alongside experiential practices that cultivate embodied awareness, ethical presence, and ecological belonging. Students are invited to engage Indigenous teachings with humility and respect, recognizing the diversity of Indigenous cultures and the importance of learning from knowledge keepers rather than treating these traditions as interchangeable or universally applicable. Modern medicine and neuroscience provide complementary perspectives that deepen our understanding of resilience, stress, regulation, and human flourishing.
Designed for coaches, yoga teachers, bodyworkers, massage therapists, energy practitioners, holistic health professionals, and emerging healing arts practitioners, this course offers practical skills that can be integrated into existing professional practice while fostering a lifelong path of embodied learning.
By the end of the program, graduates will have developed a foundational understanding of nervous system regulation, somatic awareness, relational presence, subtle body frameworks, and ethical, trauma-informed approaches to healing within their professional scope.
